Brighter than Neon

Stop berating yourself for old mistakes. – We may love the wrong person and cry about the wrong things, but no matter how things go wrong, one thing is for sure, mistakes help us find the person and things that are right for us. We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future. Every single thing that has ever happened in your life is preparing you for a moment that is yet to come. lifebuzz.com

Never let your mistakes define you as a person cause God has been watching over you to test your faith on him. Every human being is born with unique talents but not everyone can see it so while counting your mistakes why not try excelling to things that you like the most? you are here on earth to be brighter and to stand out on your own way. Warr!

Love,

Someone will always be...

Stop trying to be someone you’re not. One of the greatest challenges in life is being yourself in a world that’s trying to make you like everyone else. Someone will always be prettier, someone will always be smarter, someone will always be younger, but they will never be you. Don’t change so people will like you. Be yourself and the right people will love the real you.

The only real elegance is in the mind; If you've got that, the rest really comes from it.

Damn Right I Support It.

Today in religious education, we had a heated argument about gay marriage and I got mad. Very mad. My friend and I were so mad at nearly everyone in the class who said that gay marriage should not be allowed because God created “Adam and Eve” not “Adam and Steve”. Unfortunately, I go to a Catholic school so everyone thought they were so right by quoting the Bible. No, you’re not. God also said obey your parents, don’t have sex before marriage and never get jealous. May I also add that Leviticus also said no hair cuts. But I guess we’re skipping all that. So why can’t we skip the fact that gay marriage is not “appropriate”.

I don’t care if you don’t like the idea of gay marriage or if you don’t like gays. What I do care about is when you try to take the human right of marriage away from them. Everyone deserves to love someone and get married to them without anyone questioning them or making snide comments about it. Why can’t two men or two women get married without judgement? What’s so wrong about that? The problem in our society is that we let people like Kim Kardashian get married for 2 days then divorce but we can’t have people like Ellen Degeneres get married and stay married forever? We’re all just people, all the same underneath the skin and flesh. We all deserve the same rights.
I just hope that one day, I will be able to look back, along with my children or grandchildren and remember the times that homosexuals were not allowed to get married and then I’d laugh about how everything has changed. I hope that one day I’ll be able to say “I can’t believe gay marriage used to not be accepted.” I want to live in a world where homophobia is not a thing and gay marriage is a thing. I want to see it happen before I die but if it doesn’t happen before my death, then I hope it will happen soon after that.

I SUPPORT GAY RIGHTS!
I just don’t understand how a bajillion years ag
o, people fought for all the rights we have

today, saying how we are all equal and all

that bullshit, but still, a great percent of

our world can’t marry who they want… like,

really?
Love is love- the world is fucked.

Flaws

It’s easy to hide your imperfections and flaws from the world because everyone’s just passing through. No one takes the time to actually dig any deeper than what you choose to show them on the surface, so you use a few tricks and cover up what you’re uncomfortable with and keep moving. But then when someone comes into your life and actually wants to put in that work to dig deeper and actually know you as a person, you can’t hide those flaws and imperfections anymore. They’re just sitting out in the open. And that’s kind of scary for some people. Because for so long you’ve been able to avoid and hide these insecurities and now someone’s there trying to understand and love these things about you and it’s just a shock almost. Like you become so good at covering up these things that you don’t have to confront them, it’s almost like they’re not there. And then someone comes into your life and you’re forced to put yourself and your insecurities completely out in the open. I dunno, it’s crazy how quickly they resurface.

You have to make mistakes. That's how you learn and that's how the world works.
